WHAT TO KNOW
Newborns are my thing! Every baby is so different and they all give me a unique challenge. Timing in photographing your new baby is critical, thats why it is best to schedule your newborn session before your bundle of joy arrives to ensure I can accommodate you during those golden days! I offer three types of newborn sessions, check out the detailed list below to see which one fits you!
Lifestyle Newborn Session
These Sessions are done in your home and include more photos of the family with the baby, allowing your home to light up the background of the photos. These photos are typically taken in a living room, or the baby's nursery. Posed photos of the baby will not be taken, as props will not be brought- but individual shots will be taken of the baby in your home.
As before, the earlier the better. A sleepy baby in his/her first few days is a lot easier to maintain throughout a session than an older baby, but these sessions are ideally done within the first 28 days of babies life. Example of a lifestyle newborn shoot below. $175
Wrapped Newborn Mini Session
These sessions are baby alone, in studio. Baby is wrapped during this session, with up to 4 swaddles. I do provide swaddles, hates, headbands. This session does not include naked shots, and the time frame for these sessions is shorter. No family shots are permitted during this session, baby alone. These sessions are perfect for babies up to 1 month old. Example of wrapped session below. $125
Posed Newborn Sessions
These sessions are done in studio. I do provide all props for this session. I have a wide variety of wraps, blankets, hats, headbands, and outfits available. This session includes wrapped poses, as well as naked poses. This session is baby alone, no family shots permitted. These sessions need to be done within the first 14 days of babies life, if you baby is older than 14 days, I recommend the wrapped mini newborn session. Sibling shots can be added to this session. 3 siblings or less, add $50. More than 3 siblings, add $75. Example of posed newborn session below. $225
All sessions include an online gallery of your edited images that you can download and print at your discretion. Online galleries are included in the session fee. I do require a 50% nonrefundable retainer to secure the session. The remaining balance is due at the session. Retainers can be paid prior to baby's arrival to guarantee a spot within the time frame needed for the session of your choice.
